Washed linen and washed cotton:

When you want to wash washed linen bed linen (linen duvet cover, sheets, pillowcases etc.), you can machine wash up to 60 degrees. You can go this high as washed linen is raw linen stretched in special machines or with lava stones.

Linen becomes very supple and preshrunk. The fact that the linen is washed, it will not be able to shrink any more (unlike a raw linen), it will, on the contrary, tend to enlarge a little at the beginning.

The maintenance of your washed cotton bed linen will be the same as washed linen:

For the Dili range of the Harmony brand or the Palace range of the Vent du Sud brand.

For example, don't worry if your washed linen or washed cotton duvet cover gets a little bigger than your duvet. All the materials move a little in one direction or another and in this case the washed materials move by enlarging slightly (a few centimeters at most).

The advantage of having washed linen or washed cotton duvets is that they become softer over time and the colors patina.

If you have a dryer you can use it, if not you can let them air dry. By stretching them well, there is no need to iron them. The slightly crumpled appearance gives that little bohemian chic side.

Regarding a washed linen curtain like the curtains of the brand "Epic, Dune,  »Or the curtains Propriano of the Harmony brand, they must be washed at a maximum of 30 degrees with a small spin because you have eyelets on these two models. They must not rust or tear themselves from the curtain.

For the model They fly, you just have to remove the rings / clips, and you can wash them up to 60 degrees (first cold wash so that the black croquet does not rub off) since there are no eyelets on this curtain in washed linen.

So everything related to washed linen: Linen quilt, linen set, linen cushion, linen tablecloth… you can follow the advice in the paragraphs above.

Cotton velor:

Regarding cotton velor (we do not sell polyester velor), we will advise for any item: velvet cushion, velvet quilt, velvet curtain ... to wash in cold water or by hand, either by machine.

Cotton velor on the other hand should not stretch or shrink because these are the hairs that make up the velvet.

Example of velvet range: Dream from the Epic brand (curtains, eiderdowns, cushions), Delhi., Arty from the Harmony brand, Médicis from the En fil d'Indienne brand, Bangalore and Namaste from the Indian Song brand (Curtains, quilts and cushions).

Finally for the Harmony, Bundi and Mansa curtain ranges, you will also wash cold because there is the velvet part on these models.

The Bundi cushion or eiderdown with a velvet part and a linen part.

The curtain Mansa has a small black velvet part and a large linen part.
